Haha...this GD has been closed since June.

Hey everyone - I'm heading to the airport right now to pick them up.

I'll check all the merchandise and post back if anything is amiss. (Which I'm sure nothing is)

Cant wait. On Monday since I have the day off I will get my exhaust leak fixed and install my B pipe as well as a test pipe. Then maybe the next week I will install this. It will be sweet.

Got em!

I had to get to work and didn't have time to open each and every box to check for sure about the parts count - but the packing slip states every part correctly, so I'm sure it's all good!

I'll be assembling them Saturday and shipping on Monday.

If anyone just wants the raw parts and wants to assemble them themselves, let me know, and I won't assemble said pieces.

Thanks!

I'd like to assemble mine - I want to thoroughly understand its workings. Thanks. I really don't mind if it's easier for you to assemble to ensure that all parts are included. Whatever is easiest for you.

NOTE: I'll be using sealant and threadlocker one the plenums so that everything is extra solid when I assemble them, so you won't want to take it apart once it is assembled.

So that may change some people's minds about seembling them themselves.

Thanks,
IanS

Would there be a need to take it apart at some point?

No. That's why I'm using threadlocker. Anything on the engine itself should always use threadlocker - wouldn't it suck if a butterfly screw shook loose and went down into your engine!

I just finished unpacking everything -

Everything is there and accounted for - except 3 extra gaskets I had ordered for some people - those didn't come.

Of course, there is enough for 1 gasket for everyone, but the extras just didn't come. I'm going to ask my supplier what's up with that - obviously some confusion.

Anyway, it looks like everything has worked out well for the most part...

Once you guys get these, and are happy with them, make a reference to me on the 'Best Sellers' sticky in the FS Forum if you feel I'm worth it.

Thanks!

The sealean goes between the top of the chamber and the plenums. (Over the butterflies)

Basically, part # 14005M

z30maxima - Read the 2nd GD thread then.

Because you didn't reply to my E-Mails or my posts, I considered you out of the deal -

Are you saying you want back in?

I have 1 spot open. But don't be in unless you are ready to send the first 50% next week.

ALso, if you bail on it, you have to sell your spot to someone else.

need to get a little time off work to do it.

But I should be able to ship them out this afternoon - and all the assembly is done.

Ok - here's the status -

I came in today and went to repack and ship them. The only problem is that there were 2 VI's sitting in the corner i forgot to assemble!

So I checked and rechecked every nut, bolt, screw, butterfly and went ahead and shipped them unassembled. They are VERY easy and VERY obvious to put together. I included everything you will need, with the exception of threadlocker, witch is optional anyway.

Toolrocks, you got an unassembled one anyway, because you wanted it.

Anyway - they are shipped!

I will E-Mail you the tracking nubmers by E-Mail (UPS)

Thanks for everyone's patience and support!

#$@$#@!!!!

I was just cleaning up my apartment of all the boxes leftover from the deal - and I found an extra bag with all the parts (screws, solenoid, butterflies) in it!

That means one of you didn't get these parts. I must have inadvertintly sealed the box up without it in there.

So whoever gets a box without the butterflies and such, E-mail me and I will Mail it to you overnight FedEx.

Looking at the weights of all the boxes from when I shipped them, this may be ToolRocks!

So let me know! I'm soooooooo frickin sorry!

Also, everyone - be aware that I didn't have time to actually clean each and every solenoid. They're a little greasy. Just take some soap and water and wash it off. I did clean 2 of them, and they don't seem to have a problem getting wet.

Ahhh, I was reading my email with the tracking number, feeling great, then I came to this thread and buzz kill. Hehe, I could certainly understand if it was mine missing the hardware since you didn't put all the parts together assembling it. No worries if it's mine

Actually - I thought I had typed this, but realized I didn't this morning:

When I was packing, I realized there was 2 assemblies I missed. It was 20 minutes until 5pm, and I had to get everything shipped out.

So 2 others (besdies Toolrocks) have theirs unassembled. They are extremely easy to put together, however, and I'm sure you will all have no problems.
