another Variable Intake Manifold GD

ok so here is the deal finally after a couple of month my parts manager says he can get the variable intake manifolds.

we went of the parts list that were supplied by iansw & mr cranman supplied. thanks

ok so we are going to need 15 people to be in this one.
e-mail me if interested Sunlochu@aol.com.

we don't have a set time frame as of how long im going to wait to get 15 people in.

the price will be around $490 shipped to your door.

visit any of the variable intake manifold threads and you will find all the info you need to know about these things.

Getting the other parts and selling it as one 'kit' would be a plus for sure. Also, find out if you can get the plastic engine cover. That's a nice option.....

Thanks for your efforts....

I would be interested in a complete kit... I want to buy all the stuff from ONE place, and get instructions. see what you can do and get back to us

ok so most likely you people would be more interested in the complete kits as uposed to finding the rpm switch and stuff on your own?????? let me know what you guys think so maybe i can do something like that instead of just the collector. price will go up a little for the extra parts but i will have to grind a little to keep the price down.

Yup- Most of us (at least myself) is lazy when it comes to buying diff. components for a particular mod such as this. It would be a huge plus if you can indeed come up with a complete package. Having done groupdeals in the past, I know 1st hand what a huge PITA handling this can be. We appreciate all your efforts. I'm in no hurry to throw in money for this project so I can wait as more information is passed along to us.

Thanks.

also... even if you charge us more for the extra parts... the cost of shipping ONE package for us is less than shipping 3 or 4 things (saving money on the parts, but lose the savings on shipping.) so let us know what you can do.

thanks for all your work on this deal

I'd be interested. It would also be nice to have the parts ready to ship before the group deal is setup. That way we wouldn't feel bad about having to wait so long when our money could be spent some where else more productively in the meantime. You know what i'm sayin?

yeah i can understand where your coming from. but the other problem would be that is a lot of money to front for parts and that what the parts manager was telling me im sure we can work something out.

Dealers should have enough buying power to order 15 or so VI's. What he will want is assurance of demand. Try to negotiate with him provisions for a deposit from each group deal participant--$100 let's say--that is non-refundable if the full amount isn't paid within two weeks from the time the intakes are in his possession and ready to ship. You may also increase his cut of the profit to defray any liability for potential overstock. If the dealer accepts credit card, you will have a lot of takers I'm sure...

I will be in on this if you can wait until after the 1st of june to get the money (That is my B-Day and I'll have the money then).

Also I would prefer everything in one package as I know a lot of people have had problems locating RPM switches or getting them in less time it takes to get the VI. I would be willing to put any deposit necessary to get this done though.

A complete kit would be convenient. One problem I see with this is that if there are any problems/returns with the rpm switch or soleniod you will have to go through jdmmax.

Also you will need more than an rpm switch and soleniod. Don't forget the relay, vacuum reservoir, hoses, "T" connector, hose adaptors, wiring, and electrical connectors to complete the installation.

I'm just posting this info because the desire for a VI disrupts rational judgement. jdmmax I think what you are doing is great. Please be aware that by offering a complete kit you are taking on more responsibility and investing more time and money.

I hope this deal goes through because everybody needs a faster max!

i am aware of the fact that there is a lot more that has to go into putting toghther a complete kit i am doing all of the reasearch i posibbly can. this is still a very new mod for a maxima. i only have a few reliable sources to talk to. before we go foward i will be posting a complete list of exactly what everyone will be getting. and how fesable the complete kit can be. the original plan sort of changed on me due to serveral requests for a complete kit. i just hope i can get this going.

Yes I would be in IF the GD happens AND it provides ALL parts. I don't want to buy bits and pieces from different places. Too much hassle!

What parts are included in this deal? I'd be interested in a deal with all parts, but if only like 4-5 parts are missing like in Cranmans deal, I don't mind.

Please show a list of parts that come with kit,($490) and a list of all parts *NEEDED*.

ok so i just talked to my parts manager today. it seems the first guy either wanted us to order enough stuff to fill a 30 shipping container or we would have to wait for enough orders to build up from different source in cali before the guy would ship a container over here or something to that effect.

but on the other hand we are having another guy out of central america that can getthe parts that we need so im sitting tight and seeing what gonna happen with either one again sorry to keep everyone hanging put yeah this was harder to set up then we imagined. thanks for your patinece everyone. what my guy is thinking is maybe get a few kits in to have on hand to sell so were still sorting everything out.
