As a group, we have to come to an agreement as to what size we want. Personally I would like 60mm but we will just have to see. They will paint it to match the interior if we send them color samples. I have the Blond Cloth so I can send a sample in for that color.

I am sending in a color sample for the blond interior so they will be able to match that for you!

2-1/16" = 53mm

2-5/8" = 67mm

Is there a way to have larger holes made, with adapters to fit them to smaller sizes?

Thanks. I didn't have a ruler handy.

What guages are 60mm then? Apexi?

Autometers' electrical/mechanical guages from Summit are typically 2-1/6" or 2-5/8".

Apexi, Blitz, HKS all carry gauges in the 60 mm. I am open if you guys want the 2 and 1/16 or the 2 and 5/8.

He will paint them to match up to three colors. So far the Blond one and the Frost ones are in. I have the tan and someone else will need to send in a sample of the frost for them to match. The grey could be the third color if someone will send in a sample piece.

gaugepods.com response

2 1/16" (52mm) is standard. If the pillar is wide enough then 60mm will work also.

Sounds great. Did you want a list of what each one of us wants? ex color, and number of pods?
I'd like Frost, and 3 pods.

That's 20

Lets get the show on the road. I'll be on vacation starting Saturday and I won't be back till the following weekend. I'll check the board though, so it's not that big a deal.

I vote 3-pod with 2-1/16" size, unless you guys recommend the 2-5/8" size.

I am with you on the 2 and 1/16 size. I am in contact with him now to see what needs to happen to get this going. I also will ask him if it is still possible to get the option of a 2 OR 3 pod.

Any idea on how payments are going to be handled?

I'll be heading out of town tomorrow, Saturday, so I may not be able to check my email too often. Most likely, I'll be back online on Friday.

Do NOT forget to include me if you don't hear back right away.

Wow, thanks!

I doubt they'll be made that fast, but he might want the money up front. I'm pretty sure they have computers in California , so most likely I'll be online to keep the ball rolling.

Thanks for the offer though.

Here is the response

First, start by sending in an "a-pillar" so we can evaluate and do a mock-up. Here is a listing of procedures:

If both double and triple gauge holders are wanted each project requires the minimum paid orders.

All orders must be paid prior to project start.

Most of our products range from $40-$60. After project is completed pricing will increase.

the 60mm size do to pillar limitations.

I would like to see if the 60mm gauges will work, and the only way to find out is to send them a pillar. Also it seems that we would need 20 for the 2 gauge pod and 20 for the 3 gauge pod, maybe we can get a enough people for both but most likely a desicion will have to be made b/w the two. Do we have a 5th gen pillar that someone can send them?

I hope you realize the pilars cost $80 from the dealer. I have a pillar that is scuffed up from my current gauge pod. Perhaps we could work it out to turn in my pillar if they can use it.

Yeah I know they are kinda expensive from the dealer. If anyone would be willing to use theirs or has an old one laying around let me know. Otherwise, I may just buy a new pillar and send it in.
