I dunno, I installed the RSB using jackstands, and it seems to be fine?

Its been years since I installed mine, but I think perhaps this is mentioned in ADDCO's somewhat primitive installation instructions.

I'd strongly advise checking the tightness and position of all your fasteners.

I pulled it up on jackstands today and all of the screws were looser than when I originally installed them (not much, maybe 3-4 turns with a ratchet). I loosened all the bolts, then retightened all of them. Not sure if I feel a big difference (it does feel tighter though), but I would recommed to people to either install on jackstands or retighten after a few days. Thanks for the advise Cattman.

Did you use a torque wrench? The bolts should give in (e.g. bend) the tighter you go - which should occur whether you use the TW or not.

Naw, I didn't use the TW. I just tightened the s**t out of it. The bracket bends around the car. I tightened it up with no weight on it and guess when I put the weight of the car back on it, it made just the slightest difference in how tight the bolts were. No real biggie, just a couple of turns (you know like half turns) of the ratchet.
