There are a couple 4th gen max owners attempting this right now. It is going to be a year long project so just keep an eye out in the 4th gen or gen maxima discussion for updates.

Im pretty sure this will be an easy swap. Just a matter of changing the right hardware and software. What would be cool is if someone does a G35 swap, or hybrid, like a maxima motor with a G35 rear end.

I am more sure it won't be easy at all.

Way too complicated. For all of the time and money it would take to do this engine swap you'd gain a lot more out of supercharging or turbocharging the current engine you have in your car.
