No evap system on I30's???

When installing my VI I realized that I don't have an EVAP system. All 4th gen Maxima's have it, do you guys?

check your production date of your car, as you know most of out cars are based on the prior year maxima. Maybe your car has the 95 engine in it. There was a guy out here in Maryland that had same looking engine that I've seen in 95 maximas. I believe you still have an evap system its just set up different. The canister is behind your rear right tire in the inner well.

4/95 is the production date. So I take it that the 95 Max EVAP is different that the rest of the 4th gen. I also have come to believe I have OBD-1

Was it located on top, right-rear of the USIM manifold. Did you notice there is not holes drilled for it to be mounted on the MEVI?

See, I did not even have any of those EVAP components.

Louie: JWT ECU is up next on my list. Hopefully in the next month or two. I am shooting for a 13 sec time slip by the fall. NA of course. I think the VI, JWT, a littel weight reduction and slicks should do it.
