Check your tire pressures. Anything above 40 will ride harsh. If you run about 36ish all around, you should be fine. The shocks should be fine, unless the car was in an accident or something like that. But check the pressures, I have an 01' i30 with a newly installed set of eibachs, and it still doesnt ride harsh. Only over bumps at speeds above 45 does it feel any rougher than stock.

Told you the ride would not be too rough. The benefits far outweigh the costs don't you think??

100% true. Thanks again for recommending changing the springs, it was a good learning experience as well as a great investment. When you did yours, did they vibrate a little when braking at first? Or at like 71mph? just curious...

I did mine close to a year ago. No vibrations of any sort. Only thing I ran into was squeaking in very cold temps due to the fact that I did not wrap my coils.

Make sure you retighten all your strut bolts after a few hundred miles, they can have a tendency to come loose at first. Maybe realigning and balancing your tires may help the vibration, although the balance should not have changed.

Are you talking about the strut tower bolts? Cause the rears are a HUGE pain to get to. I tightened em to about where they were at stock. Im goin for my alignment on wed. btw.

Yhea, I don't know about the your car, but it can't be much different than my I30. Just have to remove the trunk carpet. It takes a bit of reaching into the truck, but nothing that can't be done in 20 minutes or less.
They most likely will be fine, but I know of a couple people who's bolts got loose and caused some bad noises. Mine were fine.

i paid 19k.from an infiniti dealer.does your car ride a bit harsh?it feels a bit cheap to me.i know its just a max,but i would have expected a more solid feeling when hitting potholes.anyway other than that i love the car.

Well my father has your model I30 (not the T) and it is a little smoother than my car. I honestly don't notice a huge difference between our cars. Maybe you have to get used to it. Definately check the tire pressure.
