VQ30DET

OK, just and idea, but I came across the Nissan Gloria on the net somewhere... it comes stock with the same VQ30DE as our cars, but with a T for turbo on the end of it. Think about it, a stock prodution turbo = a very safe engine to turbo here. I think we could definately either order the exact parts for that car, or just find out the engine specs and get parts to meet them. I think that would absolutely ROCK. I bet the two engines have the same internals too.

Sidenote, the new racing class GTR's in Japan swapped out the RB26DETT for a VQ30DETT motor. They must know somethin we dont...

Anyone else here look into this?

tilleys99 is his name and he has the engine up and running, but I know that it took a bit of altering. The VQ30DET was produced to be placed in a RWD car. There are plenty of kits for the VQ that produces more boost than the stock turbo for less.
