02 I35 Foglights without headlights on?

Is there a way to wire the foglights so they can be turned on without the headlights being on? I know there is a mod for the 4th gen Maximas, but is there a way to do it on a 2002 I35?

Yes there is a way to do it. My directions wont be the greatest, but basically you go into the fuse box under the hood and find the fuse for the foglights and cut i believe the blue wire and tape off one and the the other end you run a wire from the live end of the wire you cut off and spice it into the sidemarker and it'll work without the headlights. Before you do it the way i said its best that you find the correct instructions on the web. Sorry

It is. I think the only difference is that we have a different color wire to splice into from the fuse box.
