Squeekie hel!

Ok my car is having a case of the squeekes. I've got a squeek in the back seat, front left seat. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I've also noticed that when I pop my trunk it doesn't pop up like it used to. it unlocks but doesn't lift a few inches.

I got a couple squeeks, but it's only from the suspension.

Hmmm...kinda odd. Maybe just some simple WD40 in the right spots will help the interior squeeks.

Speaking of weird noises, I get a poping sound from the rear of the car when I open and close my door....very odd.

All you can do with the rattles and squeeks from the interior is try to find the two surfaces that are rubbing and stick some thin strips of adhesive felt between them. Thats what the factory used originally but over time it wears thin or falls off (or isn't applied at all) and starts making those annoying noises. The 3rd Gens interior is full of felt linings between contact areas and thats why they don't rattle and squeek like the 4th Gens.

The popping sound when using the doors is most likely the rubber vent flap in the trunk at the bottom of the drivers side rear fender. Age hardens the rubber and every time it swings open and shut it makes that noise. If you've ever driven with the rear interior gutted it is very noticable.
