I am guessing you cleared the the orange out of the headlights? I am sure the 2nd gen I30/35 owners will know right away.

Yeah the orange is gone. How did you do that? How clean is the housing that you removed it, i.e. does it look like you removed something, or actually clean?

Hello all. I shoulda been more specific, last night i took apart my headlights and cleared out the orange. You cant tell that i took something out of the lense, its very clean. I'll take a close up shot soon. so how did i do this??

First i went to take the headlamps off the car, while doing this i found out that the I's have a security screw that you need to unscrew but in order to get to it you need to move the bumper. I got the screw out and the headlamp off the car and took it inside. I used a hairdryer to heat the glue/seal so i can split up the lense and housing. after getting an opening big enough i was able to just simply pull the orange reflector out. The orange piece is conected to the lamp in three places and is easily detatchble. after i got it out i pushed it back together and reheated with the hair dryer to make sure its sealed. and then put it back onto the car.

I hope that gives some kind of idea.
