Lighting problems
Ok, this is getting frustrating. My lights are acting funky. If I switch to parking lamps, my city lights (I have Cefiro one piece headlights) don't come on, nor do the corner lights or the rear taillights. If I put on the headlights, the headlights work, but the rear taillights still don't. When I brake, the brake lights do come on (thank God). So, in essence, what's happening is that that I don't have the parking lights working correctly, nor do I have rear tails unless I'm breaking.
What's funny is that when I arm the alarm, the city lights and the rear lights light up correctly. This leads me to believe it's not a fuse. I don't think it's wiring either since it was all working up until yesterday. I cleared out my tails Saturday and everything was working fine, again, up until yesterday.
What I did do accidentally was replace a 1157 cornering bulb with an 1156. I didn't think that it would have mattered, only that one of the filaments wouldn't work correctly, but I think that may be the root of the cause. I have a gut feeling that the light stalk got whacked and isn't sending a signal properly.
Anybody have a spare stalk handy? I don't want to risk driving at night. Anybody else have any other suggestions?
Thanks.

It's a fuse. It's happend to me before. The tail lights and brake lights are on two seperate fuses. Also put back in the 1157's. I used red bulbs where I cleared my tails, it looks pretty good.

How long has this been happening after you installed your Cefiro lights? I'm assuming that was it was working for a while before this problem occured?

The corner lights and tail lights are on the same fuse. the brake lights although use the same bulb, are on different fuses. That is why you have brake lights but no tail lights or corner lights.
I don't have my city lights on my cefiro one-pieces connected so I don't know how those interact with the rest of them.

glad to hear that its a fuse, I had a bad bulb once that had melted the 2 filiments in my bulb together. so it would short circuit the system and I kept blowing fuses. so if they go out again, besure to pull all of your bulbs and check the filiments on them.
