I know that the 2K-2K3 Maximas have major problems with cracked fogs, but I was wondering if my dad's I35 is also made with glass. If so, I plan on getting the xpel fog light covers for $30.

 

I've had mine for a year with no problems whatsoever. I suppose you could go better safe than sorry with the xpel covers, but I don't think you'll have to worry about them too much.

Oh, and I believe the foglamp lenses are made of plastic...at least that's what I remember them feeling like when I put my front lip on.

 

I haven't noticed if they are glass or plastic, but useless info, my '97 Altima had glass. For $30, it may not be a bad idea to get the covers. Are they clear? What are they made of? Where to get them? BTY Media, I just e-mailed LP about the front lip spoiler availability. What did the pieces run you?

 

Yes, the covers are clear. They are about 1/8" think and stick on over the fog lights. I have them on my Maxima and they are awesome. Available for $25 plus shipping at www.xpel.com. You have to call to order them though because they are not listed on their site.

Can I ask, where I would find these Xpel fog light covers I have a 2002 max and a 1998 I35 I would like to put covers on both of them, the ones I have found have been $80 thats way to mutch for a fog light cover, in my opinion any way..
