Not to state the obvious, but why don't you reinstall your springs and sturts. Maybe you missed something or did not tighten the strut bolts or correctly.

1. If I paid someone to install my susupesion and it made noises you can bet they would hear from me.

2. You say it's only at one corner so it won't cost $300.

3. All you need is a few tools, jack, jack stands, good directions and the most basic of mechanical knowledge in order to do it yourself

IF you think it is your tranny or related to it some how, then I suggest you go to a reputable tranny shop. Most will do free diagnostics(drive your car around and tell you what they think) they might be able to give you some idea of what might be wrong.

That was really sarcasm. The 2002-2003 I35's don't come available with manuel tranny's. Inifiniti made sure people who have the desire to race would go with the G35 instead of the I35. Sucks huh.

You custom made your setup right? Because to this moment I have not been able to find any and I mean any ready made for use aftermarket parts for the I35's.

this may not be exactly helpful.. but maybe it will.
my dad has a lexus es 300.. and after he had some new struts put on the back it had a weird thunking noise when going over a speedbump/curb/bump/etc. coming from what sounded to be the trunk area (like a loose something was rolling around in the back)

anyways, after we took it to a diff shop, the guy said that it was a common mistake for the es300 if the person installing the strut doesn't do it right. he must have fixed it cause it doesn't thunk no more.

perhaps your original installer didn't do it properly. if this is the case then 3 months or not they should fix it if they didn't install it right in the first place.

hope that helps some

so sorry... i asked my dad.. all he said was that the mechanic said that "it wasn't installed properly". but didn't say what it was that he did.

kinda makes me think that it couldn't have been that bad.. but then again.. if it wasn't installed properly.. who knows eh?

sorry i can't help you more than that.

ehhh i got a clunking sound coming from my rsb... but i know that because the bolts arent tight enough.. the bolts sound like loose change when the car is driven.. im just too lazy to get under the car, and dont have a torque wrench... how tight should those bolts be tightened? 25lbs/ft right?
