Same Manufacture, Different Dealer = Different Prices
Same Manufacture, Different Dealer = Different Prices
Hey fellow Orgs,
This is just a heads up for everyone. When you get desperate enough to buy parts straight from your local dealer, shop around 1st. Recently I was inquiring on buying some chrome kick plates, which have Infiniti engraved on them, for my 97i30. They are stock on 99i30 limited editions. Anyways, I called my local Infiniti dealer (Tampa,FL.). They wanted $150 for the front driver side kick plate (that's right just one). Then they wanted $85 for the front passenger side kick plate (same part). Both rear kick plates were different prices as well, which was around $80 a piece. The salesman couldn't tell me why they were a different price, he just assumed that they were hard to get. So I looked around on this website and found the following link https://maxima.org/shoptalk/sub_modi...t4/index.shtml . I noticed that these same kick plates were going for around $80 total for all 4, from a dealer ( Infiniti of Scottsdale: (800) 955-9181 ) ( http://www.infinitiofscottsdale.com/Theme/T14A/ )
in Scottsdale, Arizona. Long story short, I called them up and purchased them for a grand total of $85 shipped. I installed them and I love them. The bottom line I learned from this lesson: The same manufacture sometimes has a huge fluctuation in prices depending on the location of the dealer.
