Anyone wants a black on black leather 98 i30t 5 speed manual?
Anyone wants a black on black leather 98 i30t 5 speed manual?
I just went to check one out today:
http://www.autotrader.com/findacar/v...or=&cardist=17
It's in Queens, NY. Less than 70k miles, Black on black leather, must be impossible to find this color combo and car! However, the car was in an accident and although it looks good, the rear door was hit, rear quater panel was hit, the rear bumper and trunk was probably damaged as well. But it's fixed and clean looking now, unless you have a good eye and can tell.. but it's just like any other paint job..
Their price is a bit steep though and they wouldn't even buldge (ok, maybe they will but i wasn't really about to bargain with them since i didn't want it anyways).. I would buy it if it wasn't in an accident even though the carfax report is clean but I figure other people wouldn't care especially since this car is probably a one in a million find.

but i got turned off by the fact it was in an accident before.. seems like one of the rear doors is pryed back a little bit still.. plus when asked the question: "what's the best you can do on this thing?" they said "9,500$" which is the listed price.. that's more than it's worth
and still.. it is mint overall. Interior is clean, fully loaded. ahhhhhhhh
Thats a good price for that car, I dont know what book your using but $9,500 for a 70k touring 98 is under book value. As for the accident thats up to you, if the body work looked good and there was no frame damage I would definetly buy it. These days its hard to buy a used car with 0 paintwork or body work. $12,385 is blue book retail so take that for whats its worth

That fact that is was hit makes the value drop and even if it was mint its not worth 12grand. I bough my 5th grn cheaper then that I30 and it had NO bodywork.
