When to replace timing belt...

How do you know when it is time to replace the timing belt? My I30 has 102000 miles on it, I know it is driving fine, just wondering what signs point to you needing to replace the timing belt.

apparently it never needs replacing. I was curious myself about this. Read in the 4th gen. section about FAQ's and a more in depth answer is given.

we don't have a timing belt. We have a timing chain that should never need to be replaced. But you would know this if you did a search or read the 4th gen FAQ's.

read the FAQ's man, the timing chain never needs to be maintained or replaced. I've only heard of a couple of cases where a timing chain on a nissan have needed service before

Beautiful... I was under the impression that you never had to replace it ... Just was at a Nissan dealership to get a oil change, the mechanic tried to get me to have it replaced(your car has this many miiles, it should be replaced...) and I was like I don't believe it needs to be replaced. He assured me I was wrong.
@$$hole.
