is this "K&N style" intake a rip-off?

Does anyone know anything about these "K&N style" intakes that are being sold on ebay for $14 shipped? The seller is designracing and an item number for these intakes is 2439960092.

Worth the money?

Junk?

thanks.

I would guess they are kinda cheap. They are just knock-offs. I would spend the extra money to make sure I had good filtration. You can get a real K&N for not too much more. I had a cheapo filter when I first did my intake and the thing fell apart within a year so I spent the money on a apexi power intake and am much happier. I also have found that different filters produce different sound and the cheap ones sound just that, cheap.
