Christmas time means bussiness :)

Hey guys,

this month is the month it is christmass for my new E-spec Maxima QX (bodywork of a infiniti I30, interior of US-spec Maxima).

I planned a Stillen aero kit, that consist of skirts, frontspoiler and spoiler for the rear bumper. Also a US Maxima spoiler is what I'm going to get. The taillights were cleared out yesterday (witch caused I now have war with my mother since she found out I used her oven for it ). And my last mod for this month will be a lowering kit and 18 inch BBS DTM rimms.

I cant wait to get my stuff and put it on my car! I think it will look awesome!

Next things in 2004 will be:
-Cefire taillights and centrepiece
-Infiniti badges
-Custom mesh grill
-Stillen S/C with Cold Air Intake
-2,5 inch Y pipe
-Tinted windows
-Cefiro one-piece headlights
-Infiniti stainless steel kickpanels
-Infiniti Chrome doorhandles
-Chrome gauge rings
-Infiniti logo on steering wheel

Further mods I planned but I'm not sure when:
-Engine detailing (cosmetic)
-MSD Ignition
-Custom exhaust (dual exhaust 2x left 2x right)
-Leather interior (black / white combination)
-Custom white Leather door inserts
-Slammed black paintwork (I now have "concord myst.")
-Pioneer DVD / Navigation system with screens in the dash and the headrests
-More engine tuning. Turbo + IC? (my goal is to get close to 350 bhp) if any hints then please feel free to give advise.
-Nitrous kit for the times you just need a little more juice, plus it is nice to be able to tell people you have Nitrous! lol!
-Double friction clutch
-3 Gauge pillar with boostgauge, oil temp. gauge and oil. pressure gauge.
-AP Big Brake upgrade with 4 piston calipers)

Michiel (The Flying Dutch)

I can't imagine how much shipping is for all that.

Shipping aint cheap, in total I will almost exceed the costing prise of the spoiler. But it is well worth it. I love my car and see it as a challange to be the first dutch man that really modifies a Maxima, and I'm not talkin about a few H&R springs and a K&N sport filter.

I want a unique car, and such things cost money. The only question remaining is if you love your car much enough to spend that kind of money on it. I do.

Considering you have a Maxima QX, which is the same body as the I30, there is a good chance the Stillen kit will not fit your car (that's the problem all us I30 guys have). That's why some people had to import the bodykit for the Cefiro in Japan which doesn't even fit our version due to differences in size of bumper. I am guessing you will need that Japanese Kit ... the stillen kit will have fitment issues out the ying yang (and may not even be wide enough).

Second, the maxima spoiler will definately not work on an I30 body. They have a more rounded butt end .. if it does will need to be bent or something.

Thanx for the input steve, but it is not the full bodykit from stillen I chose, they are some sort of spoilers that you can mount under the bumper. They are more some sort of bumper lips, including sideskirts. At the stillen site you can chose your vehicle, and I chose for 1996 Infiniti I30, and the bodykit apeared in the list of available products.

Are you sure it won't fit? It would really be to bad, I was looking for to it kind of...

The spoiler, that is to bad. I think the I30 spoiler is way to small for such a big car and the American spoiler was exactly what I was looking for, just big enough, not to big, and still kind of subtile.... Any advise on wich spoilers I can get for the I30?

maximus, you sure about the stillen kit that you didn't put 98 maxima? Because the I30 has no body kit other than side skirts at stillen.com, can you verify that?

The spoiler, well just the i30t spoiler, which is maybe what you currently have perhaps. I agree we should get a big one You may want to look at a thread here named 'new zealand bodykit'.. they have pictures of a kit on an I30 that has a large spoiler, plus I think that bodykit will fit yours without mods.
