I just purchased some hid hi/lo h4's (6500k) to match my Cefiro one piece headlights. However, I'm in Canada, and the law is that you have to have DRL's (daytime running lights) ...

I need help..

1) I will have to disable DRL for the hi/lo hid's .. Anyone know how to do this?
2) Replacement DRL's, any suggestions? I heard of a DRL that hooks into your parking lights .. that's a possibility however perhaps there's a better way. I have heard of some people modifying the foglights so they can turn them on while the lights are off.
3) Best way to install the HID's in our car?
4) The brand is Brightstar (got them for almost 300 less than what it usually costs here) -- anyone have experience with this brand?

Any suggestions? Sorry if maybe this info exists, but I doubt anyone from Canada's asked this especially with DRLs (plus I cannot search).
