i30 vs. i30t

Hey guys,

I'm deciding on a i30/t and wondering other than the non-smoked headlights and 16" rims, what is the difference between the "t" and non-t models? (ie. interior features.. etc)

Thank you to all who reply..!

What year are you looking at. the I30 was made until 2001 and in 2002 and 2003 it was the i35 but there really wasnt a t. as for the difference in the I30 and I30t, there really arent any interior differences. but with the t you get the firmer suspention like the maxima se and also you get the standard spoiler with the exception of year 2001. one more thing i can think of it the limited slip in the transmission. i think its vlsd not too sure but i like mine.

I thought there was I35 made for the 2004 model year... If they are doing away with the I35 this year I hope they do some type of fully loaded limited edition touring model with a 6-speed manual or stick the 5-speed auto in it. It would be the best maxima to date. But to stay on topic it's the VLSD, suspension, and 17" alloys that differentiate the touring from the regular "I" in the 2000-2001 model years. Also, if i'm not mistaken the side skirts are also standard for the Touring along with the Spoiler.

Hi kalbundy,

Thanks..failed to mention that (the year thing). Either i'm looking at a 2000/2001 i30 or i30t.

Does the i30 come with the steering mounted audio/trip controls and the auto dimming mirror?

Thanks again..

Thanks inertia777,
I believe there is an i35 for 2004.
do you know if the 2k/2k1's do have TCS (traction control do they not?)..
i'm not sure, but like what kalbundy stated, it's pretty much all the same options inside right?

i30's are just beautiful to look at.. (imo)..

Thanks guys..!

My I30T has TCS, so i'm sure it's an option in all the models. Oh, I forgot to mention that for the 2000 year you could only get Xenon headlights (standard) on the touring model. The interior options are the same in all of them.

I have a 00 I30t but dont have the spoiler which is fine by me. Also dont have traction control or heated seats. Damn I do like this car. Wish it had the 3.5 liter like the 02 Maxima I had.
