Where to mount ps2??
Hey guys i'm tackling the indash monitor install today and i was just wondering if u guys knew of any real good place to mount it, cuz i already have an amp under my front passenger seat, so thats not an option. I have a sub box in the trunk n was wonderin if it would b ok to mount it on top of the sub box maybe???.......or would this cause too much vibration or what? Any ideas will help thanks.

Do you mean how to take apart the dash to get the ACC out, or how to seperate the connectors to the ACC once you have it out?
Assuming it is the latter, you probably have to depress a small tab with a screwdriver and just pull apart. I have never done this with the ACC, but that is how most other harnesses work.

Yah thanks for all the advice n everything. But i finally got everything to work. It was in black and white because of the rca wires.........the dumba$$ at best buy said it would be fine to run component video rca inputs into a regular video hookup.......(what an idiot)........i was iffy on that whole thing the whole time. So i just had to take those back and use the original a/v rca inputs. EVerything is great now, except the cigarette lighter adaptor for my power invertor.......it doesn't ever stay in the cigarette lighter w/out me having to hold it in.......any suggestiions how to fix this?!?........thanx

Sure Take It Appart And The Wire The Goes To The Middle (the Pushy Thingy) Is A Positive And The One To The Side Thingis Is A Negative... Find A Ignition Wire In The Car..
Located At The Back Of The Radio Or Even On The Cigarette Lighter And You Are Done..

OK....finally everything is said and done and everything is hooked up. looks great and picture and sound quality is good too. Still wondering how to very nicely mount the ps2 up somewhere in the area of the front passenger area of the car. I tried the velcro idea, but it didn't work too great. Oh well. Any other ideas would help.......also.....i have a pretty killer system w/ a cap and 3 total amps, all replaced 6 1/2's, 2 12" subs, and a receiver.......then when i'm watchin movies n playin games.......on top of all of that ****, the monitor, ps2, and power inverter r also gonna b running........a cap helps out the battery if i'm correctly assuming rite?.....so can i watch say a whole movie while on the road w/out it totally messin up my ride or drainin some battery power or blowin a fuse? thanks ahead of time guyz.
