Need some help from my i30 brethern, please step inside.

I was on cardomain and did a search for i30s, and I was shocked to see all of the RICE that comes in highly rated.

I have a page up at http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/233635/1 but it was from my old maxima. When it was my maxima's page, the max was pretty basic. I re-wrote it to fit the I30, and the old ratings still remain, so I am low on the totem pole. Can you guys help me represent the org and vote me up so that I am at LEAST on the first few pages? You can sign my guestbook if you want, but the votes are the big thing. Thanks!

YOUR car deserves it! But you have to admit, a lot of those donkeys on there are all rice or bling w/ no real mods...

Tere are a few really nice I30s on there, but there are also a lot of trashy wannabe gangsta types...

No, I got sent to Hawaii (NICE!!!) for most of last week and I had not arranged for shipping before I left. I am sending the labels out today.

I think that I am going to go w/ Falken Ziex 512 in a 215-60-15 for tires. i was going to go with BFG Traction T/A, btu the ZIEX are well-respected (at least in the 17" size), and they are lighter AND cheaper than the Tractions.

I got the I30t rims back last night- the will go on after work today.

I still need to sell the Milles.

Given your rubbing problem, why did you not keep the I30/35 rims and sell your Q45 rims?

It just occurred to me that that might have worked well...

Yeah, but I'm thinking of getting some Borbet Type E's now. I've always loved those wheels.

It is really odd how similar our taste is. I just looked over your page again, and here are the similarities:

Both are (or will be) running Q45t rims, though from different eras.
Both swapped in OEM SE gauges.
You have chrome gauge rings, and I have a set that Louie forgot to give me when I picked up the car.
You did the 97+ center console conversion, and I did the same to my 96 Maxima. Ange is sending me another one right now.
You have H&R, and I am about 2 seconds from yanking the Intrax for a set of H&R. I had them on the 96 and loved them, but was worried that they would ride nose-high in the i30.
We both dislike "cheesey" mods, and both of us have taken a minimalistic approach to performance mods.
You have HTR+, I just pulled off a set.
I covet a 99 limited steering wheel, just as you do.
In the Max, I had a set of Infinity components w/ the tweeters in the sail panel, just as yours are.

On top of all of this, your overall taste in stereo components closely resembles mine. I would love a setup like yours in my I30. I hope to get SOME GPS this summer.

Weird, isn't it? Of all of the I30s on cardomain, yours is close to the top. Have you considered OZ Monte Carlo rims? I think that you would like them, and there is a 17" set for sale on here. I wanted them, but I cannot take the harshness unless I swap out the Intrax for H&R.

Nope, those are the real things. Well, they were, at least until last night, when I swapped them out for the OEM BBS. I put them back on to sell the 16" Mille Miglia rims.
