*pics* Sanded / Polished / Waxed my headlights (Yellow=ugly)

Hey guys, I made a thread a little while ago about trying to take my headlights off. I got impatient so I just left them on to do the job. I was careful to not let the sandpaper hit any paint, trust me

Anyway, I used 600, then 1000, then 1500 wet sanding. I then polished it with 3M polishing compound and finished it up with a coat of Meguiars Paste wax. All parts were purchased at Autozone and the project took about and hour total.

This first picture shows fine sanding (1500) on the first light I did, the passenger side. You can see a nice difference already between the sanded and unsanded light.

This is the before and after picture. I think it really makes a difference on the front end of my car. Nice, cheap, easy, effective "mod" =)

About an hour. Make sure you sand thoroughly, especially with the 1500 grade. If you don't, even when you polish + wax, you can see some scratches. But if you take your time and sand every little spot, it will look fine.

Looks good. Another think you might try is get mothers aluminum polish and scrub your lights. I have done this on my truck and my other cars and it works great .
