I personally do not like these because it defeats the water drainage properties of the U-channel and drainage hoses within the sunroof, thus it encourages corrosion along the sunroof opening.

thanks mike I just wasn't sure if our sunroofs were the same as the maximas'. Kinda figured they are same but want to make sure before ordering. Also What does everyone think of these on an i30?

I took mine off. I actually wanted some wind to get into the cabin. That deflector deflected all wind. Not to mention that my I30 is a poser luxury sedan and none of the Mercedes or BMWs out there have a deflector.

Well after looking at your cardomain page I'm gonna think some more before buying it. My car looks just like yours, same rims, color, drop. Pretty sweet. I like the look of the deflector and that is ALL I was going to buy it for. But we'll see...thanks bro.

I bought mine off of Custom Maxima about a month ago... I also bought it just for the look - I don't really care about the wind deflection and if corrosion becomes a problem I would just have to remove it. But as far as my personal opinion goes, I like the deflector because I think it gives the car a *slightly* more sporty look.
