If i buy 98-99 I30 stock headlights, they should fit the 1996 I30 right? There are no mods that need to be done in order for them to fit are there?

Nope, it's a direct fit. But why would you want to do that, the headlights are unchanged. the taillights are different, the new ones look better if you ask me.

Actually the headlights on the 96-97 I30's are the "roughed up lenses" not crystal clear. the 98-99 lenses are clear. That's the main difference.

yes man ... those roughed up lenses look awkward ... if u can't get Cefiro's single piece as u have been trying, i'd suggest you to atleast get this 98 or 99 headlight ... my friend has 96 I30 and those lenses look sick, as well will not give much light even if u have blue light halogen lamps in them .. mine are xtal clear

just get the cefiros... they are going for $270 now

NO.. dude.. these are OEM CEFIRO TWO PIECE HEADLIGHTS...
They look almost exact as the OEM CEFIRO ONE PIECE.. but where as the corner are clear-er and shinier.. but is separate from the headlights.

damn, I've been looking for those 96-97 outer tail lights. How much are those? I'm interested.

Will the lines match up correctly with the USDM center? I thought the cefiro tails did not match correctly.

This set does... and it's OEM Nissan product... It's pretty Rare..

those definitely line up! I had a pair but I bought a 1999 center tail and got the 1998 cefiro tails....they do NOT match up, the cefiros are a brighter red and a slightly different shape....they are completely smooth whereas the OEM 1999 center tail light has ridges....
