I made a mesh grill for my car to fit the bumber areas. If you would be interested, I can send you pics of how it turned out and I can also tell you how I did it.

I have not seen a pre-made mesh grill for our cars.

What kind of mesh did you use and where did you get it?

I would like a thin, stainless mesh kind of like what is found on the Jaguar R's. If I could get it in black pearl instead of chrome that would be sweet!

Anyone know where I might be able to find this?

Sorry but no mesh grille for this car. However, Several grille types are available here:
horizontal (common), vertical (common), kidney (Somewhat like BMW's but rare), horizontal bar (very rare). I have mesh grille but it's custom made using fine mesh.

I used some stainless steel looking mesh from the AutoZone autoports store. They sell it in a square shape if I remember correctly.

I basically took that out to the car, held it up to the area I wanted to create a grill for and then outlines the open area on the grill with a marker. I made the outline about an ince bigger than the hole so I could bend the edges inward to give it a smooth look, as well as to give me somehwere to hook the grill onto the bumber. I used eye hole screws to hook the grill onto the car. Eye hole screws are usually found in picture hanging kits with the nails and wire and all. Just get the ones that just fit into the mesh.

I screwed them into the bumber inside the opening (not on the front of the bumper) and then the grill just popped right onto the eye hole screws.

I actually took the grills off a month ago and painted them with Chrome automotive paint to shine them up a little and to help them match the chrome on the car.

I hope this helped? If you need any pictures or anything else, please email me and I will send you some.

Have a great day!

I bought mine from SyCefiro a year ago, only to realize it's just a stock grille with the vertical bars cut out and with mesh put in. I then painted the mesh black. You could easily turn your grille into something like this with a little patience. If only I had known then...
