getting car back from shop today! (I hope) :)

Well, remember how I told you my car got it's *** kicked by a hail storm that rolled through a few weeks ago?

Well, she went into the shop this past Monday and I think I will be getting her back today! I am so damn excited!!!!!

They were replacing the hood with a new hood, repainting it as well as blending the front fenders. They were going to take every single dent out of the car so my car should be dent free!!!

I am thinking that it will look like a brand new freekin car!!!

Now, this may seem strange to some of you, but I am very big into detailing. i love it! I asked the body shop if I could have my old hood and they said sure! I will have an extra black hood to work on and test stuff out like products and paint and all! How cool is that!!!

must be covered by comprehensive insurance :-) Of course, minus deductible.

flthere: Ding ding ding!!! What do we have for him Johnny!

lol yeah since the hail is why it's in the shop, it was covered by insurance. Sweet!!! The estimate came to $2400 roughly.

I got the car back and it looks sweet!!!!!! This car has never looked so clean and new! It's a 1996 and it looks like a freekin' 2005 now! There is not one ding in it anywhere and no rock chips on the front end.

Oh god! I think I just creamed in my pants! I am so excited about it!!!!!!

Now I just need to order the Cefiro one piece headlamps and I am good to go!!!!

Thanks. AS you can tell, i am very excited about it. Once I figure out the whole Stone guard Cefiro hedlamp thing, I am going to buy the cefiros and slap those suckers in. Oh how I have dreampt about this moment my whole life! Alright maybe not that long, but a long time

Are there different Cefiro one piece headlamps out there or are they all the same? I want the ones that DO NOT require any modifications to my car and that FIT PERFECTLY.

Thanks for your help.

As far as I know there are only two types of one piece headlights. One type has the chrome backing and the others have a black backing. The blacks are aftermarket in Japan. Both require no modifications, they fit right in!! However, you do have to cut off the stock connectors, and wire in new connectors that should come with the headlights, but it is really easy.

Nice! I really appreciate your help. If you look on paradox-systems.com, they say the black housings need modification for our cars, I thought.

So from what you are saying, both require no mod other than to cut off the existing harnes and sauder on the new one? So they are both, "bolt on and play" products?

Very sweet. Do you have these on your car now? If so, do you have pics? Apparently I like to see pics huh? lol

Thanks again.
