How many pieces was the kit???
flthere: I checked out that site, but those are only for the maxima's arent they? I would need some different pieces for my 1996 I30 especially around the air vents in the center of the dash.
Do you know ho much this place sells them for?

Hmm, well I30MikeD, I appreciate your comments. How do people go about changing their trim if they don't get the kind that sticks on? This is a new area of modding for me, so please let me know how this is done and where I can find some good trim that will look awsome.
I would really like to change the trim from the wood look, but I have no clue where to look for good kits.
Thanks again everyone.

I havent seen one that doesnt stick on... Thats why I would just stick with the wood. You will be upset if you get it on, dont like it, want to take it off and it fukks up your wood... ya know
Yeah, I agree. I don't like anything ****ing up my wood. lol
No, but seriously, your right. So how do people change their interiors. I have heard of people painting them, but screw that! To me, that just has dissaster written all over it. The wood trim that comes on our cars looks like they are actual pieces that are molded out of the wood material and pop into place on the car. So it is not like a sticker that someone molded around the black plastic pieces right? I wish there was a place that sold pre molded pieces that fit our car in other finished other than wood grain.

To cover up the wood so I don't see it with the aluminum kit, I spray painted some parts and used black touch up paint on others. I got a gunmetal aluminum dash kit and other metal accessories. I'll post up some pics when I get all the parts installed. I think it looks great. I'll convert you yet Mike!
The easiest way to do it if you really want it to look good but want to be able to return to stock is to buy maxima parts (in black) and to paint them or to use a stick-on kit over that.

Just a thought.
Ohh. I understand. Yeah, I agree with that. I don't know if I would want to go back to stock after I do a dash mod though. Oh well, who knows. For now I need to focus on the 87 Maxima SE guage conversion and the dimmer/Compass mirror conversion and the Cefiro headlight conversion. Gees I have a lot going on right now. When did this happen??? lol
Thanks again
