o2 sensors both failed at same time. then...
OK, my 2001 i30's Check engine light came on, I brought the car in, and was told the front o2 sensor need replaced. They replaced it (under warranty), light is still on, they then replace the back o2 sensor. Light is still on, they say the ECM needs re-programmed.....
Does this sound legit??

The dealer should have done this after the first o2 sensor went out! They are probably too incompetent to do this simple proceedure. Although your car is under warranty and all this costs you nothing the inconvienence of having to drop the car off multiple times due to dealership idiocy in inexcusable. They will probably tell you and Nissan that the entire ECU needs to be replaced just so they can make a profit!

Thanks for the info.
It's actually CarMax that is incompetent. I have had the WORST service there than anywhere. They finally took it to the actual dealer when they said they couldn't reprogram the ECU. I feel better that the Infiniti dealer has it now rather than CarMax. Plus I got them to let the Infiniti dealer to an entire "used car inspection" while it was there. I want any problems dealt with under warranty while it's there.
