I have had the shocks on my car before. They def made my car ride more smoothly. Weren't really sporty but I wasn't going for that.

I need new struts badly, and the last time my car was in the shop for a tune-up, I'm pretty sure my mechanic told me not to put those in... I'm not 100% positive that they are the same struts, nor do I know how much value I should put in his recommendation (or lack thereof) but if I remember correctly he said they were cheaply made. Dunno if that helps. I'm probably going with Tokicos, but I haven't done too much research yet.

Since it's like one-time investment, I guess it's good to follow Mike's advice on buying GR-2s and a set of new springs ... I saw set(4) of GR-2s for like $230 shipped in ebay.
