Dash Kit

Hay guys im new and i was wondering if anyone knew where i can get a dashkit for my 2000 I30, I just got it but i have a radio that i wanna put in please advise.

been through alot of posts here man there is NO dash kit for the a33 I30. the only way to get one is to get one custom molded for your car.

Your kidding not one company makes one for this car. Every car has one except this one!!!!?!?!?!

And this proves metra is f!_!cking up by not making a kit for us.

Can you imangen the responce they (or sombody) would get if they mass produced a kit. Thats just good busniess. WTF

Yeah i talked to a retard at crutchfeild and he says metra usually will make a kit if there is enough interest. He also said the way metra gauges interest is every time some one calls and crutchfeild searches for a certian car it is logged with metra. So in theory if we get enough people to call crutchfeild and ask for 2k plus dash kits they would produce one. However i am a little more practical than that so im not holding my breath.

how about we get a poll or something started and email metra with about 50-100 people, that should get them started from at least one forum right? i havent found any other forums for i30s but that would be so great...

im still waiting on either someone to make the kit and if all else fails i will go with a expensive alternative which is fiberglass

and by the way what are some signs of a bad ground? i have a 5 farad capacitor and im still dimming....

Did you scrape the paint off the area you grounded your amp. and if you use wire thinner than 4 gauge it will do that.

By the way if you want lets do this i wanna start this poll started you guys down i really wanna get a dashkit for my car and not in the mood yet to go and get fiberglass for my car.
