Does anyone know what the little nub on the outside of the drivers side door is?

I believe that he is talking about the little black rubber nub that sticks out on the door? Maybe the light button that tells the light in the car when to turn on and when not to turn on??? Just guessing, but I will look when I go to my car after work and let you know.

 

Isnt that the sensor to say the door is open, that sets off the chime.... Pictures would help everyone!

it is the little black nub that is on the outside of the drivers door. it is above the window. and no ***, i am not trying to waste time. i do not have a digital camera

LMAO, sorry to have started a third nipple thread guys. Damn, that is a very big topic on this I30 board isn't it! Glad everyone is getting a good laught about it though.

 

I do not believe it is a third nipple, though I would'nt put that past Nissan. It is on the top part of the door where the window rolls up.

 

It helps the door frame line up with the outside body of the car - similar to a hood-stop.

incase you havent figured it out by now, no one here is able to tell what in the world you are talking about. your goin to have to come up with something better than

does your drivers side door contain more than one little black nub? if so, please post pics so i can see. i was unaware that i30's could transmit leprosy.

 

are you all still in the dark about the little nub? id really like to know what its purpose is
