What exactly do you mean by Temp. Gauge, on the cluster or the Auto Climate Control Temp? Well ,the Gauge cluster bulb is a 194 Wedge LED direct replacement. The Auto Climate Control needs 3 - 3mm LEDs with resistors for each, then you need more LEDs for the control buttons like Defog, Circulate, Off, etc.

I'm confused as well.

The temp guage (in your guage cluster) uses a 194 bulb

The temperature controlls (the AC unit) apparently uses 3mm LEd's with resistors for each LED.

Did that help at all? "scratching head as well."

not the temp guage is the cluster i totally forgot about that sorry i mean the ac controls. if you look at it there are little orangy red things. about 4 of them in the back. if u unscrew them the holder and the bulb inside comes out as one piece.

this is all pretty new here people are just really starting to do this, doesnt seem like its been done too much b4.

ok heres the break down of what i know

Guage cluster (speed, tach, temp, gas) all use 194 wedge bulbs 5 bulbs total 2 for the speedometer 1 for the rest.

Door lights are also 194 wedge bulbs

Yes, the above info is true. Here is a link that may help people with the other bulbs in the car if interested. http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...de/default.htm

For my window switches I used LED's from the windshield washer LED's you can buy at Walmart. I just broke them out and used the LED's from them. They went on without any resistors. Just FYI.
