Need Help ASAP
ok i was ccleaning ym rugs this weekend and i tokt he center console out and i broke this little wire thing connected to the Ebrake, this little tab came off, and it has a spring connected to it and stuff and i have no clue how to fix it, i need some one to be kind enough to take a pic or explain to me how to put it back on, now when i drive the ebrake stays on, i need some help guys this isnt good, thankyou

I don't really know for sure, but I can't imagine it would hurt anything other than the e-brake itself. If it's engaged while you're driving then obviously you're wearing it down, but I don't know if it hurts any other part of the car.

the reason ims o worried is because its snowing out and its sleet and black ice tomorrow, andi cant have my car being ****ed up, you know, i think its just for the ebrake light, but im just worried that its for sumthing else, like connected to the ecu. i tested it and it seems to be that when the ebrake is pulled up a metal rude is released under a spring and contacts the plate completing a circuit and lighting up the dash light, i just wanted to make sure it wasnt connected to any eletronic boards or sumthing
