A couple questions, and a smile

Well, being that I have an almost stock, performance wise, I30t, I finally decided that I need some more power. I ordered the Cattman catback couple days ago, should be here next week. New girlfriend found me a brand new 2001 VI, and I'm trying to get a pathfinder throttle body here too. I've got a couple extra parts to find to go along with all this. Now, the questions, since its the 2001 VI, and I won't be able to run EGR, any suggestions with the uninstall of this guys? I've been reading up, and it seems other than removing a couple rubber pipes, and sealing the small metal tube, that seems about it. Although, reading through all the posts about this from krismax and what not, I will get a CEL with this setup. Also, if I'm able to get a pathfinder TB, does anyone have availability to a machine shop? Or can I pay someone to make me a adapter plate for this set-up? I'm also trying to get 96 ECU, for I can get JWT to modify it, although the junkyards are being bi****s about it. If I can get everything on and working correctly, I believe I will be heading to Maxus '05, and be the fastest auto there.

Org member Stephe Max can make you the needed adapter plate for the PF TB, Krismax made mine for me but I am not sure he is doing them anymore.

If you run a 96 ECU in your car you will get a CEL as well, it will run fine but you will have a constant CEL

I see no mention of a y-pipe, or do you already have one?

Well, last time I talked to Cattman, they were completely out of the headers, so I'm waiting on the y-pipe, til they get a new batch of headers in, otherwise, I would of ordered them at the same time as the exhaust. I was also looking into getting a UR pulley, but considering I've got 740 watts of audio equipment right now, it's very possible that the underdrive pulley could dim my headlights if I have the volume up there Thanks for the info mike, I r much oblidged.

- just get a budget SS y-pipe ( almost all y-pipes are the same)
- get the UR pulley and get a good battery ( yellow optima or the red top)

have fun modding
