I30/I35 headlights getting stolen?

I am in the market for a new car and have been avoiding the 2k2-2k3 maxima like the plague because of all the ones i see with missing headlights around here. I looked at the I30/I35 and they have the mounting of the headlights in similar places. So my questions is, do any of you get your headlights jacked because I have yet to see an infiniti with no headlights. Let me know, cause I want to buy this car but do not wish for the hassle.

i know the maxima's get their bulbs stolen a lot, but i havent heard anything about the i30's. from what i understand, the headlights on the maxima and i30 are different.

Yes but they dont really steal them for the headlight but much rather for the HIDs. Since the mounting brackets are in the same position I would guess it should be the same unless theres something I dont know. I go out a lot, sometimes to not such good neighborhoods and do not wish to drive back with headlights.

The only thing that might hold them back from stealing I30/35 headlights is that not all of them have HIDs. They dont want to risk taking apart everything for halogen bulbs and then possibly getting caught. As opposed to a maxima which you can easily tell who has HIDs and who doesnt (5.5 gen/5th gen).

good I can feel safer leaning towards a I35, really want that 3.5 power without threat of driving home in the dark.

the headlight on the I35 has an additional screw on the bottom of the lamp that holds it too the bumper(check link for pic). the only way(i know of ) too remove the screw is by going under the car, where the foglamps are.
