That looks beautiful NewLove...Nice idea. Also, with that grill, you should get some angel eyes!

I just waxed my baby that day, also taking pictures around in the afternoon makes a big difference.

This was an idea that i had for my stock grill:

I'd like to cut out all the vertical slats, paint the grill frame body color, and put a nice stainless mesh behind it. I'm thinking a nice pearl white would look good for the emblem color. In the picture i also painted the headlight frames body colored (I plan to paint them black soon). I also added some little PIAA ricer lights (dont give me too much crap... I think they look kinda cool there).

I really would like to do this grill mod soon. My stocker is just sitting in a box in the garage, so i guess I dont have any excuses... So if anyone knows where I can source some NICE wire mesh I would love to know. I am looking for something just like the mesh found on the R-type Jag's, and if I could find that in a black pearl finish, I would consider donating my first born. lol.

BTW, I think this is the best looking grill I have seen on an A32... Someone should do this... NOW
This is exactly how it will turn out.. if you do it right:
JDM Authentic Autech Mesh Grilles A33

I've been seeing a few 01 I30's with 01-02 I35 grills that look sweet. Has anyone here actually done this to their I30? If so, how easy are they to install? Is it a perfect fit? Any suggestions on where to pick up an I35 grill. I checked ebay, but didn't see any available.

Ok wow... I had an awesome sighting today! Paducah KY, a 4th gen I30 with Utah plates, Black with tinted windows, had the stock grille, but the grille and emblems had all been plated with that Black pearl plate... Why the heck don't I remember to carry my camera around, anyone seen this car?

Ive replaced my grille with that from the I35 (02-04). The install is very straight forward. Unbolt the stock grille from behind, and replace it with your new I35 grille... Its that simple... Well you have to click the emblem into place, but if you cant figure that one out Im not sure if you should be opperating a vehicle.

I got mine from my local dealership for around $250 with emblem, but Ive heard you can find them a bit cheaper at www.everythingnissan.com. Make sure that you order the emblem with the grille because it is not included.

Thanks for the info. So for the I35 grill on the I30 is one of the better looking setups. If anyone has any pics like this please post 'em.
