headlight aiming

headlight aiming

i just installed hids yestarday... and the beam pattern a little low... is there anyway that i can aim them higher? thank you in advance for any info, and have a good day.

Use the aiming screws? What temp kit did you get?

which screws and where are they located? are you talking about the white ones becuase if so they do not move. the temp kit i got is 6000k. ill post pics later.

Did you get an aftermarket headlights or stock 2000 I30 Headlights.
If you have the stock.. then the screw to move up and down should be on the lower corner of the headlight.. and the screw to move right to left should be on the top right next to the city light location.

Here is a photo of an aftermarket I30/I35 passenger side headlight:


you see the one screw on top next to city light plug, and on screw on the lower bottom next to the low beam plug. I hope this helps.
