Ask the audio forum. I am sure plenty of guys have done this to their A32s.

You CAN use your bose speakers with an aftermarket stereo. You will need to choose between using the bose amps on each speaker or using the headunit's internal amp, but it can be done if the shop knows what they are doing.

i found one but it was from a local installer that got shut down. they also said that if i upgrade to new speakers then they would have to send wire to every single speaker from the head unit and its an extra 200 dollar job and it takes approx. 2-3 hours extra. thats not including install of speakers and what not. i was planning on buying a head unit and new speakers and once i heard about that extra 200 dollar charge i kinda went in my head "youve got to be kidding me!" owell the money is coming soon!

the guy at the shop told me using the factory bose amps is louder but the sound quality is virtually the same both ways. i would like to do the install myself. ive installed a bunch of decks amps subs etc but have never dealt with a bose before. anyone done it themselves? if so how? thanks--dave

If you want to keep using your bose speakers and don't want to purchase one of those $50 adapters...just use the decks rca outputs and strip the rca cabling and run to the matching polarity on the harness. Depending on the deck, this low voltage output will be similar to the bose decks output.

If you want to keep the stock bose amp and speakers functioning, but just change the head unit, the easiest way, hands down, is to buy a ROEM-NIS2 adapter made by PAC. Plugs into your vehicle harness on one end, and wires up to your new deck on the other end (just like wiring up any other head unit).

Can be had on the internet, ebay, and I personally have ordered one with free shipping from www.affsave.com (called to place my order).
