hey guys, i was just wondering, whats the kit out there that allows single din decks into our double din cars? i have a 99' I30 and im planning on getting either an alpine or eclipse unit.

im pretty sure there is, go to sound advice or something and they should be able to hook u up

Metra Model # 99-7417, can be purchased at any circuit city.
You will also need a Bose integration adapter if you don't plan on replacing the speakers.

Only a pocket is needed.

yeah but using a pocket will make you have to DIN mount it which is ugly since it doesn't let you use the bezel. the kit actually has a pocket built in and is recessed to allow room for a cage/bezel

edit: btw i'm an installer for circuit city that's qualified to install everything we sell + some custom wood working. probably not as knowledgable as you but just letting people know i'm not the average joe
