I was getting ready to buy a new set. But aren't the originals warrantied for 60k miles? I only have 26,500 on mine and they're gone. It's a 2002 and I bought it in April with only 20k miles on it.

Go to the dealership and complain your **** off. They will most likely pro-rate you out then overcharge you for a new set. Make sure you know the street price for the tires you want before going.

I would be thrilled if I could get 26,500 on a set of tires.Originally Posted by 95gxe

God thought. I'll try that and get back with what I'm able to muster up. The best I could find in looking online was $110/ea for a set of Continentals with a 60k mile warranty. Then there would be $32 to ship them and about $20/ea for mounting and balacing at a local tire spot. So I'd be looking at dropping at least five on it. If I can come in under that at the dealer for four mounted and balanced I wouldn't be too mad. Every little bit helps.Originally Posted by klschulte
