MAF adapter ??
Is the maf adapter for the 2000 I30 the same as the 1998 I30?

Not sure. Ask the 5th gen forum. I read somewhere on here that the 5th gen MAF seems to fail more than the 4th gen one.

I was wondering more about the adapter that attaches to it for an aftermarket filter. Is the bolt pattern the same size?

oops, didnt see that. I would say that it probably is on the 00-01... dont hold me to that though.
