Ever since I bought my car I referred to it as brilliant silver. However, I am no longer sure it is that color as I have not seen any other I35s in "brilliant silver". Can anyone tell from my signature what it is? Is it diamond graphite? Better yet, does anyone know the paint code? Thanks in advance!

 

According to the 2002 I35 brochure, the color of your car is Brilliant Silver. It is available with either Willow Leather (beige) or Graphite Leather (black). Diamond graphite is a darker and newer color and was not available in 2002 on the "I". I don't know the color code for Brilliant Silver. However, if you open the vehicle hood and look for the stainless steel plate on the firewall of the car. It should be next to the words color,trim. (for example, my Maxima's color code is KT3 which is Sterling Mist, and W for Frost (Light Gray) leather. Respectfully, "Bran Da Man".

i see plenty brilliant silvers here in tampa, diamond graphite is a rear color down here. except in the G35, alot diamond graphite in those. alot of folks are getting the M35-45 in black, a really bad idea in florida, dust, dust, dust, dust.............................................. .................................................. .................you get the idea.

 

Did they ever make red I30/I35?

well, i had same question about my car* (*see the signature below). It isn’t green, nor olive what is it? So i went to my local dealer, gave them the VIN and they told me the paint code, which is JW0. What's the name equivalent for it, I don’t know........ does anyone here?

 

we call your color "millenium jade". a friend has the same color and couldn't figure the color. so i bugged the hell outta the saleman who sold me my car to find out.

same here in tampa, 2 cars. an I30 and a '03 I35.

 

I just picked up a 2000 I30 and I believe I have the same color. It's very brilliant and metallic in the light, but almost black at night.

your is not the "millenium jade". the jade is way lighter, like silver with a greenish tint.

No, it is more of an olive (green) color.
