Special Delivery... ST-R fogs have arrived..Woohoo!!!!

This goes out to Meta.... for having me hooked on the overseas Maxima ST-R.

Well anyway, I received the ST-R fogs yesterday and this morning before work, I drove straight to my body shop and had them paint the fogs. They should be done by thursday but, I am so freaking impatient it's killing me. Anywho, I ordered two sets which means Kingsofsorrow and I will have completed our ST-R transformation. I will keep this thread alive so, I can post pics when they are installed on thursday or friday. I have pics below of fogs just in case you guys wanted to see them.

Nice Lee. You know my objections to them but to each their own. However, I still think they do and will look very nice on the car.

Props to you for following through and getting them in the midst of the skepticism.

P.S. and thanks for the credit, too, LOL.

Hey I have to give credit where credit is due. I was looking at this guy's I35 who moved a few doors down from me and his I35 (not to say anything bad) looks so boring. I can't believe that is what my I35 used to look like. Anytime you can get the GM of an Infiniti dealership to give you credit, then you know you are doing something right.

Nice.

Tell your shop to hurry! haha I'd like to actually see some GOOD pics of these. All the pics I've seen on the net are terrible.

So what kind of bulbs do you plan on running in these. I'm a big fan of the amber fogs with the HID's, but to each his own. All I know is that you better not put stock bulbs in there (atleast without yellow capsules ). After all the work of getting them imported, they deserve better.

LMAO! So what are you trying to say NewLove, you don't like my Ion Yellow Fog bulbs from PIAA huh huh huh. I don't think I have ever had stock fog bulbs on any of my cars longer than 2 days of ownership. I have always had aftermarket bulbs. True my bulbs are not a true HID kit however, I have always used PIAA H3 or Polargs. When I get the fogs back from the shop, I will throw back in my h3 yellow bulbs.

You might have to refer to kingsofsorrow for a better look with a real hid kit in the fogs. I don't have them, and I do not have any desire in spending over 200 for a bulb kit just for better illumination. IF I come across some cheap HID capsules then, I will make a switch.

The bulbs I have in my fogs will have to due for now until I can find a cheap HID kit.

Thanks speye022. The sportier look is exactly what I am looking for/bring out in the I35. They should have had an option for st-r body kit if they were using the sideskirts standard??

Didn't mean anything by it Lee. I used to have the PIAA Ion's too... Just not quite yellow enough for me.

A 3000k HID hit would look great! I've been looking at getting one too, but the yellow capsules are great... for now.

You mean I lose the rainbow-brite color show when I use my turn-signals. I hate the disco light show going on in the front of the car. Corner lights never served any real purpose to me.

I know....Trust me I am not one of those guys that get upset for comments or opinions or jokes. I will get the yellow HID kit that kingofsorrow have, just in due time.

oh and my fogs are done... I just have to pic them up. I will probably post pics over the weekend though. You have the HID Kit so your pics will probably be what everyone want's to see.

Either you (Lee) or Kings interested in parting with your OEM fogs for cheap?

I have a couple ideas rolling around in my head that I'd like to try on a spare set.
