Where to buy LED bulbs for analog clock / climate control
Where to buy LED bulbs for analog clock / climate control
I took apart my dash this weekend to replace some bulbs that are out.
It looks like my analog clock uses two longer blue LED bulbs.
The climate controls use three shorter blue LED bulbs.
I went to 3 different Radio Shacks this weekend and none of them sold the bulbs.
I'd like to drive somewhere to buy these so my dash isn't apart for a couple weeks waiting for something to ship in from EverythingNissan or ebay or something.
Would my local Nissan dealership have this piece? Also, what are they called? LED bulbs? LED lamps?
Thanks guys!

this has been covered in the forum several times.....call/email the guys at www.infiniti-parts.com for the replacement bulbs....shipping only takes 3-5 days. Or you can go to the stealership and buy them...but make sure you have some vaseline handy...

Geez, I called Infiniti-parts and they wanted $15 EACH for the analog clock bulbs and close to $7 each for the climate control bulbs.
I called Everything Nissan and they charged around $7 each for the analog clock bulbs and around $2 each for the climate control bulbs. Needless to say, I placed my order with Everything Nissan.
Question: my local Infiniti dealer was well aware of the premature failing of clock and climate control bulbs. He said he also had a lot of people complain that these bulbs were not bright enough at night. He said replacement bulbs have the "blue rubber condom" slipped off of them to make the clock and buttons brighter. However, Everything Nissan said they were pretty certain that the lights they would be shipping me have blue condoms on them that I can slip off myself if I want. Do you guys keep the condoms on your bulbs or do you keep them "unprotected"?
