Curious about G35/350Z muffler

I was just wondering if I can swap a g35/350z muffler for the stock one that i have on my I, will it sound like the G or the Z? I plan on doing a full 2.5" exhaust soon, but for now, will the muffler make that cool sound?

it wont sound like the 3.5. headers will come close, but just a plain old y pipe will sound nothing like the 350z. also that muffler will not even come close to fitting unless you cut the spare tire well. if you really want the sound, buy headers and a cattman cat back.

As far as Im concerned, Cattman has the highest quality products with the best gains. You do pay for that, but when don't you pay for quality?

So basically what we are saying is... We don't know if you can put those mufflers on an I without modification but we do like some of the other catback systems available.

The 350z/G35c muffler will not fit on with out major modification like JSutter said. You would have to custom the inlet to the b pipe, cut the bumper for the other tip, custom hangers and rubber insulators, cut spare tire well, etc...

You can achieve the sound with out all that if you buy any of the QUALITY intake, cat back and y pipe combos available for our car.

Exactly. That one would not be quite so hard to fit on.
