Front Wheel Bearings on a 2000

Are the front wheel bearings a known weakness in the 2000 I30? I'm experiencing a humming sound from the front during low-speed maneuvering.

Not from what I heard. Depends on your mileage and how you have driven the car.

They are subject to wear jusst like on any other vehicle. My friend had to replace the drivers side on his 96, and it was a humming noise.

Thanks for your input, guys. I thought I had read in the Fifth Gen section that they do have front bearing issues, but maybe I am mistaken. My 2000 has 84.5K miles (which is about average) and my wife and I are pretty conservative drivers, so I'm hoping the bearings aren't the problem. This humming is disconcerting so I'll have to keep an eye on it.
