Chrome Wheels/Grill

I have been thinking about taking my I30 to the next level...putting some chrome on my stock 16" and also dipping the grill in chrome. Would this look right on this car or would it bling it out too much?

if you're gonna spend the money to chrome the wheels why not just buy some chrome wheels?

If the cost difference isn't that great then I would recommend buying new rims too. You could get some that are a little bigger too!

I have yet to see anyone chrome their I35 grill. I'm curious to see what it would look like. Can you actually chrome a plastic grill? With a black car, that should look tight.

you could put 20's on without modification, but your wheels will look bo-legged, lol. i'd suggest going no higher than 19's and lower the car a bit to get rid of the fender gap. hell even if you get 20's i still don't think it would look good without lowering the car. the best way to research this is to go into the 5th gen maximan forum or cardomain(checking out 5th gen max's with 20's).

That sounds like a pretty good idea...the I30 is a pretty classy car, I don't think it looks good with bigger than 17's, maybe 18's. Some BBS rims would look great on it.
