Put an M3/M5 style lip spoiler across the end of the trunk. Simple and classy.

 

I have heard the M3 style stick on wings peel and crack very easy if not painted with flex agent. I would get an oem style one or the M3 style one, but I really don't trust a stick on spoiler myself.

 

On an A32 I'd hardly worry about the flexing of the spoiler cracking the paint at all.

Considering that the ends of your trunks are nearly perfectly straight, the lip wouldn't need to be curved/flexed at all.

And I had the Paradox A33 lip on mine. It did crack, peel, and constantly pull itself off the trunk, but that's mostly because A) I had to curve it to fit the line of the trunklid, B) It kept fighting that curving and constantly pulled itself off (wanted to stay straight), and C) cracked and peeled because it had to be pulled off and put on multiple times.

On an A32, you shouldn't have any of those problems.

 

I have had a lip from Paradox since they first came out. Havent had any problems with it at all. Ideal for the A32 and A33.

 

Not ideal for the A33. I got one when they first came out too. And I know of at least 2 other A33 guys that had the same problems as I did.

 

ok ideal for the A32. I would think that A33 wouldnt have that big of a problem once you lined it up correctly the first time, layed it down and left it alone.

 

Trust me, several of us have been through it enough to know that the one from Paradox just won't work on the A33. The curve is too great and the lip wants to stay straight. Several applications, by myself, body shops, etc. Others have had the same experience.

I now have a lip that seems to be made of rubber, literally. That one is working just fine (but almost impossible to paint).

 

I would stay away from the stick on type and get a factory replacement or junkyard spoiler, I am pretty sure the 4th gen maxima is the same spoiler. Might even be able to find the same color so no painting is needed and it will match perfect. Everyone I know that had a stick on type spoiler it always ended up coming off or cracking and either took it off or got a different one.

LOL...give it a while. I think it was 7-8 months before mine started to come up (the first time).

 

the 4th gen and i30 spoilers are far from the same...look at some pics first...

Btw, it depends on how the lip spoiler would be "prepared" before the final colour.... Sorry for my English

 

If you're talking about being painted, then yes, it needs to have a flex additive/agent mixed into the paint.

Which mine did, but it will only flex so much, so many times. 3+ reapplications eventually overcome..
